OUR SERVICES

GICL’s services aim to enhance the humanitarian and development sector further. We aim to provide efficient, timely, and reliable services for our partners.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

GICL offers impartial and objective M&E for its partners. We support our partners to monitor results in real-time, outline lessons learned, evaluate the result and the impact of humanitarian and development programmes, and provide recommendations. GICL has successfully monitored projects for its partners in Yemen, Syria, Sudan, Iraq and Egypt.

Program Development

GICL is highly experienced in assisting its partners in developing their aid strategies and policies to establish their sectorial and geographical focus and identify their chosen activities. We enable our partners to structure their aid strategies and assist them by recognising where it is; they can add value.

Aid Documentation

GICL has assisted its partners in developing their foreign aid databases. We also assist our partners with registering their aid with international aid platforms such as the United Nations Financial Tracking Services (UNFTS), Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and the international standards (International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI)). We ensure that our partners adopt this good practice to develop transparency, accountability and visibility within the humanitarian sector.

Needs Assessment & Baseline Surveys

GICL conducts needs assessment and baseline surveys to identify beneficiaries’ needs, which help determine suitable interventions to be carried out by the stakeholders. Our field experts and teams are highly trained and have practical experience working in locations facing humanitarian crises and development challenges.

Training & Capacity Building

GICL’s staff have years of practical experience delivering quality capacity training. An organisation’s people are its most valuable asset. Our commitment to excellence drives us to help our partners to build effective support systems. GICL’s training is based on international best practices that make its training engaging, relevant and sensitive to the local context in which we operate.

M&E data analysis and report writing

GICL is experienced in data analysis and report writing. GICL ensures the reliability and credibility of data by using PRA Triangulation. The collection of reliable and credible data allows us to prepare comprehensive reports that guide decision making about future humanitarian and development interventions that involve our partners.

Humanitarian Research

GICL conducts humanitarian research to support its partners in strengthening their knowledge when responding to global interventions. Reports and focus documents are then prepared upon the request of partners. The example of research topics includes but is not limited to Humanitarian Access, Humanitarian Development- Peace Nexus (HDPN), Anticipatory Action, Humanitarian Response, Donor Benchmarking, and Stakeholder Analysis.
