INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Our internship program provides you with a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a company that has a global reach. Working at GICL, you’ll be given a chance to work with our experienced personnel, allowing you to gain vital skills, experience and knowledge to add to your portfolio.

Statement from Previous Intern

I received invaluable insight into the humanitarian and development sector whilst working with GICL. I appreciated learning about the process of third-party monitoring, from start to end, and what each aspect entails. I was allowed to work on various projects and gained experience in submitting project proposals and bids. Given my hectic schedule, I valued the flexibility the internship provided. Everyone at GICL was very warm and welcoming and made the internship enjoyable.

What We Look for In an Intern

  1. Passionate about wanting to work in the Humanitarian Sector.
  2. Highly motivated and will approach tasks with a can-do attitude.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  4. Committed to learning and fulfilling the internship scheme.

Duration

The internship lasts for at least 3 months. 

Location

Remote but may require visits to the office.

Hours

Hours are flexible and can be made to fit your schedule.

Salary

GICL interns are not paid; however, travel expenses are covered. Candidates should have the right to work in the UK.
